Foods High In Sugar Content should be avoided while in orthodontic treatment. If you do consume foods high in sugar, brush your teeth immediately afterwards. If it is not convenient to brush your teeth, always rinse your mouth with clear water after eating these foods.

- Hard Candy of Any Kind
- Hard Pizza Crust
- Starbursts
- Ice
- Taffy
- Foods To Be Eaten Carefully
- Raw Fruits & Vegetables (cut into bite size)
- Potato Chips
- Corn On The Cob (remove corn from cob before eating)
- Ribs- remove meat from bone
- Cold Cereals
Remember to use your best judgment when eating foods. If a food is sticky or crunchy, or you are unsure if it is ok, it is best not to eat it.
